Surrender to His love. Stop chasing after man’s love, which does not satisfy the deepest longing. Let Him love you. His love, His perfect, unconditional, neverending love, satisfies the deepest longing of your soul.

Surrender to His grace. Stop using your self-effort. Stop trying to earn your way in life. Surrender to His grace, and let Him give to you, let Him bless you, let Him supply you.

Christianity is not about doing things for God. It’s not about trying to please God. It’s not about man giving to God. It’s about receiving His love and grace. “Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” (Rom 5:17)

It’s all about Jesus and His finished work at the cross, and Him working in our lives today, on the foundation of His finished work. It’s all about Him.

It’s all about Jesus.

Managed to jot this down today in 3rd service. I was jotting this down halfway then my iPod touch ran out of battery. Like, completely. Haha. So had to rely on my sermon notebook.

His lack upon the cross translates to my reward. A divine, beautiful exchange. Amen.
